  • Jessica Steinberg is an Associate at Feldman Legal Advisors PLLC, licensed to practice law in England & Wales. She holds the first PhD on regulated cannabis from the University of Oxford, where her ethnographic legal research spanned eleven countries and examined global legal reform and market development. Since 2018, Jessica has consulted public and private entities, investors, and governmental bodies on regulatory compliance matters across emerging therapies and technologies. Her work has led to a UN delegacy at the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the WHO, and in 2025 she was short-listed as “Industry Rising Star” for her contributions to the cannabis sector. She also supported the cannabis desk at Dentons US, assisting large multi-state operators.

    Jessica’s academic and professional background has equipped her with expertise in due diligence, fact-finding, deposition preparation, negotiation, and transactional support. She counsels clients on commercial agreements, corporate governance, and licensing, as well as packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance. Her approach combines rigorous analysis with strategic insight, helping clients navigate complex and evolving regulatory landscapes.

    In addition to her legal practice, Jessica provides pro bono support to the Digital Intimacy Coalition, a European initiative focused on privacy, consent, and ethical innovation in technologies related to intimacy and personal data. Her leadership and commentary have been featured by BBC Radio 4, Benzinga, the New York Times, Forbes, Reuters, and Vice. A seasoned public speaker for over 13 years, she has appeared as a keynote speaker, panelist, moderator, and podcast guest.
